Oil Separators
How do Oil Separators work
Oil separators can be fitted to surface water drainage systems to protect the environment from pollution by oils.
They separate the oil from the water and then retain the oilsafely until it is removed. They are installed to contain oil leaks from vehicles and plant and accidental spillages. To be effective , oil separators need to be correctly designed and maintained.
We offer a wide range of ol separators that conform to standards EN858 - 1
Fields of applications
According to current rules, the oil separators have to be used for the pre treatment of surface waters carrying hydrocarbons, for example
- To treat water from industrial processes, washing of vehicles, from cleaning of oil coated elements.
- To treat rain water contaminated by the oil from waterproof zones such as car parks, roads and factories.
- To hold wide - spread light liquids and to protect the surrounding zone ( fuel stations)

Class 1: with coalescing filter
residual content lower than 5mg/l according to standard EN 858
Class 2: without coalescing filter
residual content lower than 100 mg/l according to standard EN 858
